From zero to AI master.
30 days. 5 minutes a day.

Generating a thousand product descriptions is easy. Doing it without publishing a single claim you cannot stand behind is the skill. One 5-minute drill a day on listings, search, margin, stock and support, built around the rule that a model may never speak as a customer.

Free forever · No app to install · Built on the Zekai Audit of 1,900+ tested AI tools

The Ban

0

AI-generated reviews you are allowed to publish.

The FTC rule prohibits reviews and testimonials that misrepresent they are by someone who does not exist — it names AI-generated fake reviews explicitly — or by someone who never used the product. Creating, selling, buying and disseminating them are all covered.

The Scope

0

categories of review conduct the rule prohibits. Most stores do at least one.

Fake or AI-generated reviews. Incentives conditioned on a particular sentiment. Undisclosed insider reviews. Review sites you control that look independent. Review suppression. Bought followers and views.

The Teeth

0

the year this stopped being advice and became enforceable.

The rule took effect on 21 October 2024 and authorises courts to impose civil penalties for knowing violations. The Commission vote was 5-0. Filtering out your one-star reviews and implying the display is complete sits inside the prohibition.

The plan is simple.

No course platform. No 6-hour videos. A daily drill you run in any AI assistant — built around your real listings, your real numbers and your own customers, and around the rule that a model may never speak as one of them.

Your 30 days. Every one of them, mapped.

Four weeks, four escalations: foundations → the storefront → the funnel → the business. Day 1 is open right now — try it. The rest unlock one per day after you sign the challenge, because mastery is built on daily reps, not binge-reading.

Day 30 has a trophy.

Finish the challenge and earn the Zekai Certificate of Completion — proof you didn’t just read about AI, you practised it for a month. Type your name. Go on.

Certificate of completion of an educational challenge — not a professional certification and not issued by any industry body. But it looks good on LinkedIn.

Questions before you start

Is this really free?
Yes. Zekai is an independent AI tools directory — the challenge is how we introduce people to the tools we test. Some tool pages contain affiliate links; the challenge itself costs nothing and requires no purchase.
Will this teach me to spam out a thousand listings?
No, the opposite. Day 8 is built around a hard constraint: every factual attribute comes from your own product data and the model may only arrange and phrase it, never invent a material, measurement, certification or benefit. Publishing a thousand listings with three invented claims in them is not a productivity win, it is a thousand chances for a customer to find one. The volume is the easy part; doing it without a false claim is the skill.
What is the review rule?
Installed on day 6, and it is the spine of the whole month: a model may never speak as a customer. The FTC rule on consumer reviews and testimonials, in force since 21 October 2024, prohibits reviews that misrepresent they are by someone who does not exist — it names AI-generated fake reviews explicitly — or by someone who never actually used the product. It also covers incentives conditioned on a particular sentiment, undisclosed insider reviews, review sites you control that appear independent, review suppression, and bought followers.
Can I use AI to write my product reviews?
No. Writing them, buying them, or having a model embellish a real customer into something they did not say all fall inside a rule that authorises courts to impose civil penalties for knowing violations. The subtler traps catch honest merchants too: offering a discount that is implicitly conditioned on a positive review, letting a manager post without disclosing who they are, or filtering out one-star reviews while implying the display is complete. Day 18 covers how to get more reviews legitimately, which mostly means asking everyone at the right moment. Nothing here is legal advice — check the rules for every market you sell into.
My store is small. Is this worth it?
Small stores get more out of this than large ones, because the drills need a product page, a support inbox and a spreadsheet rather than a data team. Several days are specifically about not buying things you are too small to need: day 12 works out whether you have enough behavioural data for a recommendation engine, and day 14 tells you honestly when your traffic is too low for an A/B test to mean anything. Knowing what not to buy is worth more to a small store than any tool on the list.
Why can’t I see all 30 drills at once?
Because binge-reading builds nothing. The challenge unlocks one drill per day from the day you sign — the way any skill gets built: daily reps. Day 1 is open right now so you can try it before committing.
Do I need any AI experience?
Zero. Day 1 assumes you have never written a deliberate prompt. By day 14 you will know whether your store has enough traffic for a test result to mean anything.
What if I miss a day?
Life happens, and so does an unplanned stop. The challenge is sequential, not strict-daily. Pick up where you left off; the certificate cares that you finish all 30, not that you were perfect.
I work in a different profession. Is there a challenge for that?
This is the E-commerce Edition. Doctors, lawyers, accountants, teachers, farmers, video editors and many more are already running theirs, with more coming. Sign up and we’ll tell you when yours goes live.
