🎵 Zekai Challenge · Music, Audio & Voice Edition

From zero to AI master.
30 days. 5 minutes a day.

Ninety thousand fully AI-generated tracks now arrive at a single streaming service every day. Almost none of them are heard. One 5-minute drill a day on the parts of a music career that still belong to a person, built around the rule that a voice is somebody property.

Free forever · No app to install · Built on the Zekai Audit of 1,900+ tested AI tools

The Flood

0

fully AI-generated tracks uploaded to Deezer every day.

At peak in June 2026 that was more than half of all new music arriving on the platform. Over 13.4 million AI-generated tracks were detected and tagged there during 2025 alone.

Source: Deezer newsroom, 21 July 2026.

The Blind Test

0%

could not tell AI-generated music from human music.

Nine thousand people across eight countries were played two AI songs and one real one. Almost nobody could separate them. Eighty percent said fully AI-generated music should be clearly labelled.

Source: Ipsos survey commissioned by Deezer, November 2025, 9,000 respondents in 8 countries.

The Reason

0%

of streams on fully AI-generated tracks were fraudulent.

Against 8% across the whole catalogue. The flood is not an audience, it is a payout attack — and it is why AI tracks account for only 1 to 3% of actual listening on the platform.

Source: Deezer, 2025 figures published 21 July 2026.

The plan is simple.

No course platform. No 6-hour videos. A daily drill you run in any AI assistant — built around your own sessions, your own catalogue and your own contracts, and around the rule that a voice belongs to the person it came from.

Questions before you start

Is this really free?
Yes. Zekai is an independent AI tools directory — the challenge is how we introduce people to the tools we test. Some tool pages contain affiliate links; the challenge itself costs nothing and requires no purchase.
Will this teach me to generate songs?
No. There is not a single drill in this challenge that asks a model to write a song for you. Day 5 uses one to interrogate a lyric you wrote and explicitly forbids it from offering alternative lines. The value here is everywhere else: session logs, metadata that actually gets you paid, split sheets, release timelines, contract preparation, sync readiness and teaching material. Those are the hours that keep you out of the room where the music happens.
What is the voice rule?
Installed on day 6, and it is the spine of the whole month: a voice is a person property, and a simulation of it counts. Tennessee ELVIS Act, which took effect on 1 July 2024, made it the first state to add voice explicitly alongside name, photograph and likeness, and it defines voice to include a simulation as well as the real thing. The practical consequence for working musicians is the part people miss: consent to record somebody is not consent to clone them, and that applies to the session singer you hired last year as much as to a famous artist.
Can I clone a singer voice if I credit them?
Credit is not permission. The ELVIS Act creates a property right in a person voice including a simulation of it, so the question is whether you have their agreement, not whether you named them. Day 6 covers what to get in writing — including from session singers and voice actors, whose original release almost certainly said nothing about cloning. Using your own voice, a properly licensed synthetic voice, or a voice you have written permission for is a completely different activity. Nothing here is legal advice and the law differs by country and by state; take proper advice before you build anything on it.
I think AI music is killing the industry. Why would I do this?
Because the numbers are on your side and almost nobody knows it. Deezer reports that fully AI-generated tracks now exceed half of daily uploads — and account for only 1 to 3% of actual listening, because they are excluded from recommendations. Up to 85% of the streams they do get were fraudulent. The flood is a payout attack, not an audience. This challenge is not about joining it. It is about the metadata, splits, rights and release work that decide whether a real artist gets paid, and about knowing exactly where the legal line sits on voice.
Why can’t I see all 30 drills at once?
Because binge-reading builds nothing. The challenge unlocks one drill per day from the day you sign — the way any skill gets built: daily reps. Day 1 is open right now so you can try it before committing.
Do I need any AI experience?
Zero. Day 1 assumes you have never written a deliberate prompt. By day 14 you will have a release metadata checklist that stops your royalties going unmatched.
What if I miss a day?
Life happens, and so does an unplanned stop. The challenge is sequential, not strict-daily. Pick up where you left off; the certificate cares that you finish all 30, not that you were perfect.
I work in a different profession. Is there a challenge for that?
This is the Music, Audio & Voice Edition. Doctors, lawyers, accountants, teachers, farmers, video editors and many more are already running theirs, with more coming. Sign up and we’ll tell you when yours goes live.
