Lesson 17: A literature is a set of disagreements.
A literature review is not a list of what people said. It is a map of where they disagree and why. Models are good at drawing the first draft of that map — which you then verify and correct.
Why this matters: Once you can see the camps, you can place yourself in one. That positioning is exactly what separates a description of the reading from an argument about it.
