Lesson 22: Rehearsal is the point.
Difficult conversations go badly mostly because you improvise them. Rehearsing against a model that plays the other side lets you fail privately, cheaply, and first.
Why this matters: Asking for an extension, questioning a grade, telling a supervisor you are struggling — these are advocacy skills nobody teaches and everybody needs. You will have the real conversation better for having already had it once.
