Lesson 14: Make the model show its work.
“Step-by-step” is the most powerful phrase in prompting — it forces visible reasoning. For teachers it does double duty: better model output AND ready-made worked examples for your students.
Why this matters: Worked examples are among the strongest-evidence teaching tools, and they’re tedious to produce. A model forced to reason step-by-step — with misconception flags at each step — mass-produces them. Halfway point: this is the skill that separates users from masters.
