Possibly, and that is exactly why day 6 exists. Article 50 of the EU AI Act became applicable on 2 August 2026. If you deploy AI to create a deepfake — generated or manipulated image, audio or video resembling real people, places or events that would falsely appear authentic — you have a disclosure obligation, whether or not you intended to deceive. But there is a carve-out for systems performing only an assistive function for standard editing, or which do not substantially alter the content. Removing filler words is not the same as generating a person. Day 6 has you sort your own toolkit against that line.

You can use it for most of what you already do. Weeks 2 sits almost entirely on the assistive side — silence and filler removal, audio repair, captions, transcription, grading assistance, delivery conversion. Week 3 is about the genuinely generative work and where disclosure begins. The point of the edition is not to avoid AI, it is to know which side of the line each step sits on.

They are treated differently, and day 15 works through it. The definition turns on resemblance and apparent authenticity, and published guidance indicates that clearly fantastical or physically impossible content falls outside it. Generated footage of a plausible real street is a different question from a generated dragon, and both differ from a generated version of a real person.

Not without clear, informed, written permission for the specific use — and day 16 is dedicated to it. Someone agreeing to be filmed is not the same as agreeing to be synthesised, reused in another context, or made to say something they never said. The day also asks what you should refuse to do even with permission, which is a question worth answering honestly.

Because binge-reading builds nothing. The challenge unlocks one drill per day from the day you sign — the way any skill gets built: daily reps. Day 1 is open right now so you can try it before committing.

Zero. Day 1 assumes you have never written a deliberate prompt. By day 5 you will be building a paper edit from a transcript instead of scrubbing through rushes looking for the bit you remember.

Life happens, and so does a delivery week. The challenge is sequential, not strict-daily. Pick up where you left off; the certificate cares that you finish all 30, not that you were perfect.
