A pre-decision audit catches the unforced errors: inconsistent treatment, missing process steps, undocumented reasoning and anything that would look indefensible written down in a claim bundle.
Why this matters: This is where the compliance thread lands. Every people decision you make is yours, including any part a model helped shape. Auditing before it lands takes two minutes and is the cheapest risk control in the function.
