A hard constraint forces a hierarchy: one claim, the evidence, why it matters to them. Everything else has to go, and deciding what goes is the thinking.
Why this matters: "What do you actually do for that fee?" is now a question you get asked directly. The agents who answer it in one confident breath are the ones who worked out the answer before they were asked.
