our partner is engaging English Voice Experts (US) to contribute to a dynamic customer project focused on language data and AI advancement. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your voice skills in an innovative context where your written and verbal communication abilities will be highly valued.
Scope of Work
- Listen to audio clips in English and evaluate the nativeness and fluency of the speaker or model output.
- Assess pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity according to established guidelines.
- Document your assessments with clear, concise written feedback in English, noting key linguistic factors.
- Provide detailed justifications for each evaluation to ensure clarity and consistency in results.
- Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify requirements or address ambiguities in language content.
- Contribute insights to help improve AI model performance in English language understanding and generation.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned audio review tasks, maintaining high standards of quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Must be a native English speaker based in the United States.
- Native-level proficiency in English, with clear enunciation and natural fluency.
- Minimum B2 level proficiency in English, especially for written and verbal communication.
- Background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music/audio engineering, or related fields is prefered.
- Experience with audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is highly valued.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate nuanced language differences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
- Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching is considered an asset.
This is a 100% remote contract role, open to applicants worldwide in the countries the employer accepts.
