For architects, engineers, and BIM managers, Amplify eliminates the tedious initial step of manually tracing legacy 2D plans to start a 3D model. By simply uploading a PDF of a residential floor plan, the tool's machine learning model automatically detects and constructs core architectural elements—walls, doors, windows, rooms, and even basic equipment. The direct output of industry-standard IFC, RVT (Revit 2022), and DWG files provides a massive head start, allowing you to import a workable base model directly into your primary software. This process saves hours of preliminary drafting work on every project. The AI can also handle multi-storey projects, attempting to align floor plans automatically. While it's a powerful accelerator, it’s important to note its current limitations. The tool is optimized for French, metric-scale residential plans, and its accuracy may decrease with other project types. Furthermore, all vertical heights are set to a default, requiring manual adjustment in your BIM software.
